A new multipurpose arena in Southern California featuring a comprehensive program that includes a sunken bowl, a mezzanine with additional seating, suite spaces, bars, a restaurant with an exterior terrace, function rooms, and a basement housing locker rooms and ancillary spaces.

Situated on the site of an old mine, the project addresses variable support conditions by incorporating Geopier soil remediation. Mat and isolated foundations have been optimized to accommodate the anticipated relative settlement.

The seating bowl and floor structures were tightly coordinated with the pre-engineered metal building roof frames to maximize efficiency and limit support framing. On the south side of the arena the bowl cantilevers from the PEMB frames to eliminate supplementary columns at the concourse.
