A new residence with a central atrium, continuous clerestories, and exposed reinforced concrete shear walls. The house has a stepped and faceted roof profile that complements the gently sloping site.

The concrete structure provides the lateral system for the building, tied to the roof by means of header beams and regular posts that frame the clerestories. The front elevation is marked by a full-width pocket door that offers impressive coastal views.

A cantilevering terrace leads to a pile supported pool that protrudes from the steep hillside below the building.
