A new campus for the Children’s Institute in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles. The steel-framed building is organized around a central atrium with a continuous clerestory providing ample natural light.

WPe worked closely with the architect to optimize the column grids and lateral frames to fit within the overlapping masses, allowing for a shifting and varied program.
