A significant remodel of an existing beachfront home. The project features wide, uninterrupted pockets doors at two levels and two cantilevering decks.

Transfer beams were arranged to allow for the new openings and decks whilst maintain the load paths to the existing wood post foundations, allowing for an expedited permitting process.

The two decks cantilever independently but are linked by corner posts to limit vibration and minimize deflections.
