A remodel of a historic commercial property on the iconic Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Built in 1923, the building has a storied history, including serving as an artist studio for many years. Thus, maintaining the building’s character was an important aspect of the redevelopment. It features a masonry façade that was carefully retained as part of the improvements.

The rear wall was completely replaced, and the interior framing was strengthened to allow for new roofing and HVAC equipment as well as to repair damage done from previous works.
